YOU ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN HANDS-ON WORKSHOP ON 3D MODELLING AND SIMULATION USING SOLIDWORKS

The SAEINDIA Collegiate Club of Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in collaboration with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University, is pleased to invite students, professionals, and enthusiasts from all backgrounds to participate in the upcoming online workshop focused on cutting-edge engineering skills. These workshops are designed to provide practical knowledge, hands-on experience, and industry-recognised certifications. Both are open to everyone, with limited seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.

3D Modelling and Simulation using SolidWorks

Overview: A hands-on workshop to familiarise participants with the SolidWorks interface, enabling them to create small models and projects. Topics include Sketching and Part Modelling, Parts Assembly, Basic Simulation, and a Practice Project.
Mode: Online
Schedule: 8 classes (2 per week), 2 hours each (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM IST)
Duration: August 26, 2025, to September 20, 2025
Instructors: Dr. Anirban Mitra and Dr. Suman Kalyan Das (Associate Professors, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Jadavpur University)
Requirements: Participants must have SolidWorks installed on their laptop.
Benefits: Hands-on guidance, assignments and projects, certificates recognised by SAEINDIA and Jadavpur University, and shoutouts to top performers.
Fees (including GST): INR 800 for current Jadavpur University students; INR 1000 for others.

Participants will gain practical skills under the guidance of experts, thereby enhancing their expertise in mechanical and automotive engineering.
