Powering Through: Team XLR8's Solid Performance at IKR 2024

 

Everyone at Team XLR8 felt a surge of excitement and anticipation from October 5 to October 11, 2024, as we immersed ourselves in the high-energy atmosphere of the IKR event.

Our team demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork in IKR under the EV category, achieving significant milestones that showcased our dedication and innovation. We proudly claimed the 1st position in Innovation, showcasing our forward-thinking approach, and excelled in cost efficiency by securing 4th place in the Cost category demonstrating a solid understanding of competition standards, our team earned 6th place in building the Kart according to the rulebook, with a respectable 9th position in Design and an overall ranking of 8th.

The journey leading up to these achievements was marked by hard work, passion, and excitement. Our journey began with the launch of our e-kart on September 11, 2024, at the Open Air Theatre (OAT) in Jadavpur University, a symbolic day that coincided with the NAAC visit to the university. This launch not only celebrated the team's effort but also marked a significant milestone for Team XLR8 in front of a supportive community.

With a promise to learn and improve, Team XLR8 is determined to come back even stronger in future competitions, aiming for even greater heights.
